The Paraklete Project was founded on a simple belief: no one should have to walk through life’s hardest moments alone. Struggle takes many forms, and its weight cannot always be seen from the outside. During times of loss, uncertainty, transition, or hardship, the presence of someone who genuinely listens and cares can make all the difference. We meet people where they are, offering compassionate and personal support as they take the next step forward. No matter who you are or what you are going through, The Paraklete Project is here to offer help, support, guidance, advice, and practical assistance—because every person deserves a helping hand.

Meet the Founder

Founder Clyde Sherpell III, the only son of Clyde and Jeanette Sherpell, is a native of Prosper, Texas, a proud brother to three sisters, and the owner of a much-loved dog. His vision for The Paraklete Project grew from his own experiences, where Clyde’s faith in God gave him the strength to persevere, trust through uncertainty, and find purpose in his struggle. Through his journey, he learned firsthand the importance of having people who will listen, offer encouragement, and remain beside you when the road ahead feels uncertain—and he now hopes to provide that same support to others.
